Burgh Hall Street
35 ONE, TWO AND THREE BEDROOM APARTMENTS
The proposal consists of the redevelopment of a corner site on the junction of Burgh Hall Street and Peel Street in Partick, Glasgow.
The development seeks to re-establish the historic massing and streetscape repairing the urban grain that was lost during WW2 bombings. The formal rhythmic facades of the adjacent tenements inform the proposals.
The block is set back following the established streetscape allowing for green space in front of the development which provides a buffer and enhances privacy to the GF units.
The scheme aims to make best use of a material palette of simple, high quality materials that are durable and low maintenance to produce a contemporary and well proportioned development.
