Conversion of existing farm steading into 20 no. new two, three & four bedroom homes. Includingdemolitions and new building fabric design within a sensitive rural location.
The existing steading walls were retained and repaired where possible, with a modern interpretation of the rural vernacular utilised where sections had to be re-built.
The floor plates of the flats were maximised while keeping within the footprint of the original steading.
Complex site analysis was carried out to understand the origins of Longnewton Steading with Planning Consent awarded in 2007.
