Conversion of existing farm steading into 10 no. new two, three & four bedroom homes. Including demolitions and new building fabric design within a sensitive rural location.
The proposals involve creating a new wing to the steading to complete the courtyard.
The new building is a deliberately simple lightweight ‘barn’, crisply detailed and executed to contrast against the heavy stonework of the existing remaining steading.
The project was submitted for detailed planning approval in August 2006
